Magician = Energy Directed

It has been a long hiatus with our energies, by love and necessity, being diverted away from our study and our art to managing a medical crisis and care of elderly family members.  How appropriate that we can now gather our energy and begin our renewed focus with the Magician.

The process of the Magician is receiving energy, filling up with that energy, excitement and power, then releasing and directing that it into the world.

Energy has to flow and the Magician, like a lightning rod, controls it and gives it direction.  A house hit by lightning could be destroyed (like The Tower), but a lightning rod grounds that energy, and a Magician, can do more than just channel that energy safely away, he can direct it and give it purpose.
